We have a full understanding of the required level of maintenance to produce successfully conditioned golf courses in today’s challenging market. To help achieve this objective, the personal service that we can provide to clients can best be summarised as follows;
Golf Clubs
• Primarily working with the Course Manager and Owner/General Manager/Greens Chairman to assess and
identify current course and agronomic issues and to offer solutions.
• Produce work programs to help achieve objectives of improved course condition, turf quality and presentation.
• Recommend strategies to be employed in order to manage and maintain the course in a more financially
sustainable manner.
• Overview all Capital spends on the course and in equipment purchasing to ensure that monies are
invested wisely.
• Give both technical support and managerial support to ensure that the above criteria are being met.
Prospective Purchasers and Agents
• Assess and advise clients on the strengths and weaknesses of the golf course.
• Identify Capital spends required and to produce work programs to address such issues.
• Produce a basic work plan to improve & maintain the condition of the golf course.
• Assist in producing a full year budget for both payroll and operational costs.
Local Authorities
• Largely as above but tailored to meet the playing and financial requirements of each local authority by
formulating a maintenance plan in line with agreed objectives.
Architects and Developers
• To act in an independent capacity to ensure that design, construction and specifications are appropriate to
meet the wishes of the client and in doing so, to ensure that the course has long term sustainability, both financially
and agronomically.
I’d like to see the fairways more narrow. Then everybody
would have to play from the rough, not just me.
